Hunza G was originally born in 1984, known then only as Hunza under the direction of Peter Meadows who created its signature, unique crinkle-stretch fabrication and high-cut leggy designs. Hunza became instantly recognisable in the 90’s after being worn by Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. In 2015, Hunza added the G when Georgiana Huddart re-launched the brand and became Creative Director after having an obsession with the fabrics throughout her 20’s. With modern nostalgia at its core, Hunza G has grown to become an iconic brand synonymous with the sunshine.

The role

Sitting within Hunza G’s Production Department and reporting to the Head of Production, this is an exciting opportunity to join the brand’s fast-growing team. The role will see you take responsibility for assisting the Production Manager & Head of Production in ensuring that the right product is delivered on time to the highest quality standard. You will be directly responsible for ensuring all product data is entered correctly and communicated to the relevant parties through accurate reporting both within and outside of the business. Our suppliers are very important to us and as part of this role, you will ensure that these relationships are maintained and enhanced and that all KPI’s are delivered.

You will be self-motivated, with the ability to find new ways to improve processes. You will have a keen eye for detail to ensure all data input is accurate in the company’s ERP system (Zedonk).

Key responsibilities

• Creating, sharing and updating weekly Critical Paths with suppliers
• Style & material set up and data management on Zedonk
• Ongoing confirmation of ex-factory dates, updating internal trackers and assisting with production issues
• Support with the development and sourcing of new trims and packaging
• Approval of bulk fabric and trims
• Managing the allocation and shipment of fabric to suppliers
• Sending seasonal labelling data to suppliers and monitoring stock levels
• Support with tracking pre-shipment samples to be sent before bulk delivery
• Liaising with factories and accounts team to ensure prompt approval of invoices
• Liaising with the warehouse, logistics team and factories on shipment discrepancies and issues
• Ad-hoc administrative duties as required

The ideal candidate

• Experience in Zedonk would be a plus
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role at a supplier or working for a brand.
• Well organised with excellent excel skills and numerical ability with a professional and positive attitude both internally and with suppliers.
• High level of self-motivation to drive your own success and personal development.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to adapt and work to challenging deadlines with changing priorities.
• A highly driven team player, confident to work off their own initiative and step outside of their job description if necessary.
